Thursday Afternoon
Thursday Afternoon is a highly experimental piece made of layers of SVG imagery in HTML5 with javascript taking advantage of the opacity features and scalability.
Each time the file loads the elements load randomly at random sizes and layers. The image reloads itself every 20s. The whole file comes in at 27kb. See it on this website here.
Translations is a new series working with flatness and vectors and moving away from pixel painting. I'm thinking about what abstract looks like when it's not obsessed with texture and paint.
This new series appears on several blockchains and is a development of my visual language I've been developing over 35 years.
It was made on a Thursday Afternoon, listening to Brian Eno's 'Thursday Afternoon'.
